For additional durability, a new generation of GORE-TEX® PACLITE PLUS® fabric has been strategically placed across areas most prone to abrasion, including around the chest and arms. While, improved comfort and movement when aiming for those hard to reach places comes from a revolutionary new GORE-TEX® Topo Stretch fabric around the cuffs and hem, providing stretchable waterproof protection. Plus, to keep you cool across punishing routes, enhanced airflow is created by the patented Berghaus Vapour Storm vent at the top of the back along with ventilation from underarm YKK® AquaGuard® zips. With superb details like a helmet compatible hood and a handy chest pocket, this jacket’s truly engineered for life at the top.
The Women's Changtse Gore-Tex Jacket from Berghaus is a high end, light-weight waterproof shell. The hybrid construction of Gore Tex Active and Paclite cleverly gives you greater breathability where you need it with the Active Shell and durability elsewhere with the Paclite fabric.
Another standout feature is the use of Topo Stretch fabric on the hem and cuffs. This stretchy material eliminates the need for adjustment on the hem or cuffs saving you weight. As well as large 2 way pit zips the Changtse features a Vent on the back of the jacket to keep you ventilated when your pushing yourself.
The helmet compatible hood is easily cinched back with a single drawcord and has a stiffened peak to keep the rain out.
