The Women's Arc is a stretch, waterproof jacket using Pertex Shield®+ 3 Layer. It is essentially a Rab Firewall jacket that has been on a weight loss programme with pared-down features to make it the ideal lightweight and easily packable jacket for multi-season active use.
Rab says: Stretch, waterproof jacket using Pertex Shield+ 3 Layer. Pared-back features make this piece the ideal packable and light-weight jacket for year round active use.
The Pertex Shield®+ 3 layer fabric allows stretch as well as offering rain and weather protection. Minimalist features reduce weight and make it easily packable, ideal for when the rain catches you out on a climb. This jacket is designed to be worn while climbing, with a helmet compatible wired peak hood and harness compatible A-line chest pockets. The stretch fabric allows extended range of motion while moving on technical ground.
Designed for climbing, walking and other active uses, this jacket is well suited for multi-season use in uncertain weather conditions.

The Women's Arc Jacket is a stretch, waterproof jacket using Pertex Shield®+ 3 Layer fabric. It is essentially a Rab Firewall jacket that has been on a weight loss programme with pared-down features to make it the ideal lightweight and easily packable jacket for multi-season active use.
Rab have taken their tried and tested 3 layer Firewall jacket and gone on a weight saving exercise. Gone are the pit zips and the chest pocket of the Firewall to make the Arc lighter with a smaller pack size.
The Pertex Shield+ 3L fabric is soft and quiet and the added stretch means you never feel restricted when wearing the Arc jacket.
The 2 external A-line chest pockets are compatible with a backpacking hip belt or climbing harness and are usefully large. There is no internal pocket which is a shame as Rab suggest that the external pockets are fully not waterproof. In our experience the interior of the external pockets have remained dry during significant downpours but the zips are water resistant rather than waterproof hence the drain holes.
The Arc retains the excellent helmet compatible hood from the Firewall which can be snugged down when used without a helmet and gives weather great protection.
