Outstanding Gore-Tex waterproof jacket that's incredibly robust, making it an unbeatable choice for winter mountaineering or strenuous mountain walks.
Even the winter weather of the British Isles is no match for this superbly equipped jacket.
Sleet, blizzards and driving rain, it’s a tough barrier for all, thanks to totally waterproof, 3 layer GORE-TEX®, with reinforced areas to protect the jacket from rock and rucksack abrasion.
The fully adjustable hood is designed to fit comfortably over your head with or without a climbing helmet, while the YKK® AQUAGUARD® zips are watertight keeping you nice and dry.
For easy access, pockets are placed well clear of your rucksack harness or your backpack waist strap.
Every detail has been carefully considered, down to the tailored fit that brings freedom of movement and cuff tabs you can adjust while wearing your mountain gloves.
All in all the Extrem 5000 Vented Jacket is a hardworking, robust mountaineering jacket.

The Berghaus Womens Extrem 5000 Jacket allows you to stay dry all day long with reinforced Gore-Tex fabric, fully taped seams and YKK AquaGuard protected zips.
It's basically a simplified version of the Extrem Pro 8000 jacket. You still get the same super tough face fabric but Berghaus have swapped the Gore-Tex Pro with the traditional Gore-Tex waterproofing and removed all the Xpanse features to create a strong, reliable jacket at a budget.
Feature wise you still get a helmet compatible hood but with a simple drawcord adjustment and a gusset in the hood to prevent the wind and rain from getting inside. The zips are AquaGuard protected and will still work well in minus temperatures.
