Mountain Equipment utilise their own Polarloft synthetic insulation to create a warm, lightweight jacket with a low-profile, quilted look and superior styling.
Mountain Equipment says:
Dynamic next generation synthetic insulation for fast changing plans in the mountains.
The Fuse Jacket combines Polarloft® Featherless insulation with our lightweight mechanical stretch 20D RS outer fabric. A highly breathable, fast moving layer that can be worn alone for maximum mobility and comfort on bluebird days, before performing effortlessly under a shell when the sky falls in far from the valley floor.
Mountain Equipment's Womens Fuse Jacket is really warm for it's weight, there's only a few features on the jacket which helps keep the weight down. You get an elastic cord and toggle on the rear of the hood that allows you to get a snug fit which improves the thermal efficiency of the jacket. Two handwarmer pockets, adjustable hem toggles and a really high quality main zip are also present on the garment.
We really like the the styling, the quilted stitching pattern looks really cool and the colours come out really nice on the fabric.
