RAB's Vapour-Rise Flex jacket offers enhanced freedom of movement with flexible panels at the sides and under arms combined with RAB's tried and tested VR construction.
Rab says: The Women's Vapour-rise Flex Jacket is a light-weight softshell jacket with added stretch, designed to offer highly breathable protection, using a 2-layer system unique to Rab.
Developed exclusively by Rab and Pertex, Vapour-rise creates breathable, high wicking and quick drying performance clothing. The Women's Vapour-rise Flex jacket uses a durable Pertex Equilibrium outer fabric and a micro fleece liner to produce a versatile summer-weight jacket. Matrix SWS stretch panels on the sides and underarms greatly improve the levels of freedom of movement in this jacket. Technical features include a full YKK front zip, fitted collar and an integrated stuff sack.
These features, combined with the unique Vapour-rise system, plus the added stretch, make the Vapour-rise Flex Jacket ideal for climbing and active use in summer conditions.

Vapour Rise clothing is designed to be worn next to the skin or over a thin baselayer. The lining and the outer fabric work together to wick sweat away very quickly whilst providing insulation and wind resistance. It`s a very good system for keeping you comfortable when active ideal for three season hiking.
RAB's Vapour-Rise Flex Jacket employs the tried and tested VR construction in the majority of the garment but flex panels have been inserted into the sides and underarms to increase freedom of movement and improve the ventilation in a key area. No hand pockets, just a single small external chest pocket and single small internal chest pocket on the opposite side. We like that the jacket packs into the internal pocket but it comes out pretty creased.
