The women's Haglofs Aran (Valley) Jacket is a lightweight, durable and highly wind resistant jacket that works well as an outer layer as well as an insulation layer under a shell jacket.

The Women's Haglofs' Aran (Valley) Jacket is a hard jacket to categorize. From the outside it looks like it should be in our superlight shell category as it's very light, thin and breathable. But the inside of the jacket has a (thin) high-loft, waffle structure lining, designed to keep the warmth while letting all moisture evaporate - so I almost want to put it in our fleece category. Either way it offers warmth and durability at a low weight.
As Haglofs described, it's the kind of jacket you throw on in summer when the wind chill starts to pick up on the hills. It's not waterproof but it is very breathable. An interesting piece that can be used for a wide range of activities that requires lightweight insulation.
