RAB's Vertex Pants are among our lightest trekking pants, so as you'd expect the fabric is very thin and hence breathable - but its also super stretchy.
The Vertex Pant is a light-weight, stretch fit Matrix SWS™ pant, designed for general outdoor climbing use in varied conditions.
The Matrix SWS fabric is light-weight and quick drying, and also offers high levels of durability and sun protection.
Whilst the Vertex Pants can be worn as general outdoor trousers, climbing specific features such as a hem drawcord for reducing volume around your feet, and stretch fit articulated knees for freedom of movement, make the Vertex Pants ideal for use as a light-weight climbing pant.

All our products are designed with end-use in mind. The fit of our garments reflects this, and varies across different product categories.
Regular: Medium fitting, contoured with room for movement.
The fit of each garment makes allowances for clothing layers likely to be worn underneath it: a ‘regular fit’ shell jacket will have room for several layers underneath, whereas a ‘regular fit' tee will not.
