The Atlas Pant is a replacement for the classic Alpine Trek pant and fills that role superbly. Using a mix of Matrix DWS and SWS fabrics the Atlas pant has a comfortable feel but is still durable quick drying and offers great freedom of movement.
The Atlas Pant has been designed as an all round Mountain Pant and is great for mountain walking or as a heavier climbing pant for alpine use.

The first thing you notice about RAB's Atlas Pants are the softness of the fabric, both inside and out it feels and moves very comfortably.
Atlas Pants are not the lightest trekking pants and the main reason is the features, so you get reinforcement on the seat, knees and inner ankles, plenty of pockets and a partially enclosed (but still removeable) webbing belt with low profile buckle.
There's a zipped rear pocket, two front pockets and a thigh pocket - an arrangement which really suits me - I like a rear pocket for cash, thigh pocket for passport and tickets as I pass through airports, and I like to keep the front pockets empty except for my hands.
So, the Atlas Pants are a good offering if you need a reinforced pant with plenty of cargo.

All our products are designed with end-use in mind. The fit of our garments reflects this, and varies across different product categories.
Regular: Medium fitting, contoured with room for movement.
The fit of each garment makes allowances for clothing layers likely to be worn underneath it: a ‘regular fit’ shell jacket will have room for several layers underneath, whereas a ‘regular fit’ tee will not.
