Outdoor Research's Spectrum Sun gloves are incredibly light yet provide UPF50+ sun protection for exposed hands.
Outdoor Research says:
Though they're just as susceptible to sunburn, hands are often left uncovered and unprotected in harsh sunlight, frequently resulting in burned and damaged skin. The 3/4—length Spectrum Sun Gloves provide UPF 50+ protection for your paws, meaning you won't end up submerged up to your wrists in aloe at the end of the day.

Outdoor Research's Spectrum Sun Gloves are superb for using trekking poles in hot climates. Unless you rigorously apply sun lotion to the back of your hands they are vulnerable to the sun when using trekking poles, which leave the backs of the hands exposed. On multi-day treks applying sun lotion can be a bit of a bind and many people prefer wearing gloves.
Being thin they are quite cool and there are silicon dots on the palm which helps with gripping stuff, especially trekking poles.
Bound, elasticated cuff.
