Lowe Alpine's Storm 3-in-1 Gloves are two gloves, a waterproof outer that can be used on its own, a fleece inner glove that can also be worn on its own or with the outer to produce three variants.

Lowe Alpine says:

Insulated and waterproof outer glove, combined with removable fleece inner glove.

Both the removable inner glove and the outer glove can be used on their own or combined for additional protection. The inner glove uses the Lowe Alpine's Aleutian Fleece which is slightly heavier than the classic micro-fleeces around currently - so its also warmer.

The outer glove has a thin fleecy inner also so even on its own it delivers a high degree of warmth.

Feature-wise they have a soft nose-wipe (which we like!) and an easily adjustable cuff. The partial grip panel on the palm make them well-suited to carrying an ice-axe or handling a trekking pole though there's no grip features on the fingers.

Boxed finger construction means that both gloves work together nicely without bunching of the fabric. So, if you want a flexible glove system the 3-in-1 solution could be the one you're looking for.
