Lowe Alpine's Lightflite 28 pack is feature packed, hip belt pockets, side stretch mesh pockets and shoulder strap mounted bottle holders are just a few of the highlights.
Lowe Alpine says: A top-loading pack for mountain athletes, perfect for overnight adventure racers. It is also attractive to the lightweight hiker.
Lowe Alpine's Lightflite series of packs maybe bright shiny colours but they are a serious proposition for adventure racers, mountain marathoners and anyone wanting a pack at minimal weight with features that support someone moving fast in the mountains - like twin bottle holders mounted on the shoulder straps, two hip belt pockets and twin stretch mesh pockets on the side of the main compartment.
The Lightflite 28 is accessed from the top by unclipping the lid (which has its own small zipped pocket). Inside is the main compartment with bladder pocket and hanging loop. The back panel is a sheet of foam, (which is removable), covered in high void mesh to add a bit of venting to the back.
Although its light it doesn't seem flimsy in any way and we like the large zip pullers which are easy to grab and pull. You could reduce the weight by removing the shoulder strap bottle holders if you don't want to use them (they are designed to come off). There are bits of reflective webbing fitted in various points on the pack so you can be seen more easily on a road at night.
