ABOUT POWER GRID™ TECHNOLOGY
How did Polartec® make Power Grid™ do more with less fabric?
With geometric constructions to generate targeted touch points for our patented bi-component design to manage moisture. The next-to-skin surface is hydrophilic to absorb sweat vapor and transfer it outside. Then the outer surface disperses moisture for more efficient evaporation.
The grid design also creates open air channels that improve breathability, and reduce fabric mass.
Our View on Polartec Power Grid:
We love Power Grid, it just has a nice feel against the skin and wicks away moisture extremely effectively whether you are slogging up a mountain or running round the streets. It creates a very warm baselayer only really suitable for cooler days but it can also be worn as a midlayer, over a tee shirt, we think it excels in both applications.
