The Lago air is a lightweight, versatile tent that can be set up with the poles provided or use trekking poles to save weight. This is a great two skin, three season tent for solo campers.
Snow Peak says:
Backpackers rejoice as we are excited to add a new lightweight single person option to our line of durable tents. Designed for one person to minimize weight and bulk, it does not compromise when it comes to providing a spacious area for one person. The tent includes an inner and outer wall for durability and protection from the elements, and mesh panels for ventilation on hot nights.
Snow Peak's Lago Pro. Air 1 Tent is at first glance just a normal one person tent. It uses durable fabrics on the fly, inner and floor to create a practical and hard wearing tent. However, the pole set up is much more innovative due to the different set up options. The tent comes with a main frame that is essentially a pole set up, but it also comes with a sub-frame that is the top section which takes two trekking poles instead of the full frame set up. This option allows you to shed 166g in weight. This is a huge bonus if you normally use trekking poles anyway.
The tent is lightweight but durable with the use of 20D fabrics for the fly and inner combined with a 30D floor. The fly can be configured to suit the conditions and increase ventilation when required so the tent works well in a range of conditions. The porch is on the smaller side but is still enough for your pack, boots and other items. The internal space is decent with room either side for more kit.
