The Zenith Gore Tex pants are super quick and easy to get on if a storm hits and the three quarter waterproof zipper is snag resistant, so less faffing when trying to do them back up again. An articulated knee makes movement that little bit more comfortable.
Built for remote mountain adventures where weight matters, our Zenith Pants are light and comfortable yet loaded with top-spec features.
While our Zenith Pants are built from lightweight 20D GORE-TEX PACLITE Plus, they feature 40D panels in the knees and seat for extra protection, as well as reinforced kicker patches for ample protection from your crampons. The Zenith Pant also comes with an elasticated waist, as well as offset seams and articulated knees for outstanding flex and comfort when you lift your legs high. And if a small amount of water does manage to make it through the three-quarter-length zip, an internal storm flap is designed to funnel it safely away. Equipped with its own compact stuff sack, the regular-fit Zenith is the ideal easy-carry pant, whichever jacket you favour.
With its GORE-TEX construction, reinforced wear patches and climbing-optimised cut, our lightweight Zenith Pant is a premium summer waterproof for a range of mountain activities.

Rab's new Zenith Gore-Tex Pants look fairly basic when you first grab them but look a little closer and there are some useful features that help separate them from your standard pair. Thankfully the Zenith pants three quarter length, two way zippers up the outside of each leg, I found it very easy to get these on and off or if I wanted a little more air to get in then I could.
The zips feel very secure and solid and didn’t snag on any of the material when I was using them. There is also a popper at the ankle in case the zip does fail. Two reinforced holes at the ankle allow you to feed in some elastic cord so you can link up with your boots. The fit is very typical Rab, so if you fit their other trousers like the Torque or calient then get your normal size. There is also only one pocket and that is a waterproof rear pocket, but with these trousers being designed to be thrown on quickly, rather than wear all day, the lack of pockets suits them very well.
The articulated knees do a good job of making the pants easier to walk around in as the Gore-tex material does not have any built-in stretch.
