Haglofs' have also updated their L.I.M Proof Waterproof Pant. They are still a breathable minimalist pair of over-pants perfect for stashing in your pack for when the weather turns bad but with a reduced weight and increased performance.

Haglofs' 2020 L.I.M Proof Waterproof Pant have been updated to lower the weight further on these minimalist hard shell over trousers. They have also vastly improved protection in terms of doubling the level of waterproofing on the previous version without affecting the impressive breathability. The pants are low on features in keeping with the ethos Haglofs Less Is More range. The stretchy waist band makes them easy to put on and ensures a close fit. The fabric has some stretch.
There are no ankle zips but the hem is quite wide so was straightforward to pull on over an approach shoe (It may be a struggle over a big boot). The ankles can than be cinched in once the pants are on. The pants have a nice checked finish which makes a change form the matte finish on most black overtrousers.
