Montane's Minimus Stretch Jacket is basically a stretch version of the classic Minimus Jacket with all the foul weather protection but with a stretchy 2.5 Layer PERTEX Shield+ fabric that creates extra comfort and freedom of movement. It boasts technical tailoring around the arms that give you full, high reach without lifting the hem and exposing yourself to the elements, with articulated elbows that are shaped to move with your arms.
A superbly light jacket with good waterproofing and breathability characteristics - some good features retained from heavier jackets - such as the cord adjuster round the head/hood - so the hood will follow your head when you turn it. You have two map-sized A-line hand pockets which provide ventilation and a zipped chest pocket that's big enough for a GPS or mobile phone, all of which have ergonomic lightweight zip pullers which are easier to use when wearing gloves.
The jacket is deal for any activity where low weight and pack size is critical.
