Mountain Hardwear's Stretch Ozonic Waterproof Jacket utilises DryQ Active fabric which offers a superbly soft feel and amazing 4-way stretch for a waterproof jacket unlike conventional hardshells.
Mountain Hardwear says:
We can get down with technical rainshells, but sometimes simple is supreme. Because when you're transitioning from cityscape to mountainside scouting out boulders, you've got enough to plan for. And having one jacket in your pack that can handle it all⏤that's one less problem you have to tick off.
Mountain Hardwear's Stretch Ozonic Waterproof Jacket has an amazingly soft feel to the fabric and an excellent four-way stretch making this one of the most comfortable hardshell jackets you are likely to come across, and at such a low weight.
The Stretch Ozonic has all the features required, twin zipped handwarmer pockets with storm flaps and a chest pocket with a water resistant zips. The chunky easy to use front zip is backed by an internal flap.
The hood is very simple, it has a stiffened peak, it has one simple cinch at the back to reduce volume.
The Stretch Ozonic is a good jacket that will appeal to those wanting a soft and stretchy alternative to their noisy hardshell.
