In 2001 Ultralight Adventure Equipment (ULA) was started by Pacific Crest Trail hiker Brian Frankle who saw a need for durable yet light weight backpacking equipment. Nine years later nearly half the hikers completing this arduous 2650 mile trail are carrying a ULA pack. Our reputation for quality innovation and customer service have given us a worldwide reputation that is second to none.
The Rain Kilt is a simple solution for lightweight ventilated weather protection. More specifically it is a silicon impregnated nylon skirt that keeps the bulk of moisture off of your lower body while providing ease of movement and great ventilation. The Rain Kilt easily adjusts at the waist (24` to 54`) by tensioning the flat elastic band.
A split center and velcro tabs allow for a range of adjustment. Also handy as a ‘modesty kilt’ when doing laundry in a re-supply town. Fellas…remember to cross your legs.
