The Bergen Pant is a waterproof and breathable over trouser designed for use in mountain environments but weighing in at just 345g (size large) these trousers are also ideal for year round use in all terrains.
Like the Bergen jacket the trousers have been a popular part of the Rab range for several years and have been slightly tweaked for this winter.
The pants have been revised and now use a mixture of mid-weight 3-layer eVent and abrasion resistant heavy weight eVent in high wear areas. 3/4 length side zips with water resistant zips and internal storm flaps make getting the trousers on and off simple - especially useful over mountain boots.
Reinforced articulated knee section helps with abrasion resistance and improves fit and movement. A superb and very popular all round outdoor over-trouser - taking advantage of the incredibly breathable eVent fabric to produce a lightweight and comfortable over-trouser ideal for hill and mountain use on all but the most demanding of terrain.
||||eVent Waterproof Fabrics use Direct Venting Technology - a proprietary and patented waterproof membrane allows millions of tiny pores to breathe at their full potential. Sweat vents directly to the outside of the fabric in one easy step. Click Logo to read more..|

Superbly light garment eVent speaks for itself. The waistband is lightly elasticated with shock cord adjustment via a cordlock. The ankle is similarly adjusted with shockcord and cordlock on each hem.
The 3/4 length zips can be opened from the top or bottom to create ventilation the zips have an eVent storm flap on the inside. Updated for Autumn/Winter 2011 with a softer and quieter version of the fabric - features remain the same though they have added an ounce to the Medium pair.

All our products are designed with end-use in mind. The fit of our garments reflects this, and varies across different product categories.
Regular: Medium fitting, contoured with room for movement.
The fit of each garment makes allowances for clothing layers likely to be worn underneath it: a ‘regular fit’ shell jacket will have room for several layers underneath, whereas a ‘regular fit' tee will not.
