The Berghaus Paclite Storm Jacket is basically the next step up from the Paclite 2.0 Jacket. Yes they are both made using Gore-Tex Paclite waterproof technology so they are super packable and offer great protection all year round, but the Paclite Storm jacket as a whole is quite different.
To start with it looks very different; the Paclite storm has a checked ripstop effect on the fabric where as this Paclite 2.0 does not. The fabric is slightly thinner than the 2.0 which makes it lighter and helps it breath better, though it may not be as tough in comparison.
Feature wise, it ticks all the boxes. The Paclite Storm has taken all the features on the Paclite 2.0 and upgraded them to make them even better. The two hand pockets have water resistant YKK AquaGuard zips, the main zip has a storm flap for extra protection and the hood still has the adjustable drawcords but with an added stiff peak. There is also a Velcro tab that lets you roll up the hood to keep it out of the way.
Overall the Paclite Storm is a great packable, waterproof jacket, packed with useful features that would appeal to any hiker.
