The perfect shirt for active days on the hills. Light, breathable and stretchy, this shirt is made for hiking and designed to work with a pack on too.
With uncompromising flexibility and cooling technology, the Fast Hike Stretch Shirt goes the extra mile when it comes to speedy treks in challenging terrain.
This technical, fast hike shirt will have you working at full capacity as its durable fabric has a mountain of intricate details. High performance stretch fabric is built in to the construction, alongside the tailored XpanseBack™ box pleat that delivers a 20% increase in freedom of movement for maximum reach, as well as cooling under a rucksack. When the sun’s rays are strong, the main fabric keeps you covered with UPF 50+ protection, while cooling vents are cleverly combined with ARGENTIUM® PRO technology that has lasting odour resistance for a fresher day. And finally, lightweight durable protection and ripstop comes courtesy of the fabric’s grid construction. Overall, a truly robust piece of kit that makes taking to the mountains a breeze.
Berghaus' Fast Hike Stretch Shirt is a durable shirt that provides protection from the elements with UPF 50+ coverage and a good amount of wind resistance. This is a fairly loose fitting, airy shirt which is great for hiking as it helps keep you cool. There is an interesting expansion vent down the back that is aimed at providing greater stretch and cooling under a rucksack but in reality it doesn't feel any different to a normal shirt in this regard.
The shirt has a useful little secure zip pocket on the chest as well as a traditional style chest pocket with button closure. The collar can be buttoned up high to give you more protection from the sun without you having to worry about the sun on your neck and constantly adjusting your collar. This shirt works well in cool through to hotter weather and is really comfortable for days when you are working hard.
