Patagonia's Causey Pike Pants are a light, comfortable pair of trekking pants. The durable but comfortable material has DWR to shed light showers and does allow them dry well enough. The design looks clean and simple but they are a really good fit for hiking with clever lines giving you extra space and movement. These are slim-fit pants are best suited to lean-to-medium builds so they worked really well for me but if you are a bit larger you may find them a bit tight or restrictive.
There are a lot of great features with these pants that you only get to appreciate once you're out in them. The expandable, zippered bottoms are hidden neatly by the design but are really practical when you are heading out on the hills. There are four good sized, secure zip pockets and an integrated clip belt to add some extra practical features.
