Our Verdict
Patagonia's Point Peak Trail Pants are a comfortable hard wearing pair of trekking pants. They are versatile enough to wear for a range of activities and provide enough freedom of movement to avoid any restrictions. For such a lightweight pant they have enough reinforced sections to make them surprisingly durable.
The built in adjustable waist velcro system reduces the need for a belt which can conflict with the buckle on a backpack hipbelt. 4 Zip pockets and 2 hand pockets provide more than enough storage space for everything you will need while out walking. The bum, knee and inner leg reinforced areas are a great addition to these pants, along with the built in connector that loops around your laces - like the front of gaiter to keep the pants from riding up.
