Montane Prism Booties

Montane's Micro Flux jacket is a lightweight insulating garment that delivers a high warmth to weight ratio combined with Montane quality and attention to detail.

Montane says:

Designed to be worn as an effective mid-layer in colder climates or as an outer layer for quick insulation fixes to keep your core body temperature stable whilst in the mountains. The Flux Micro Jacket packs down small into its right hand pocket and tips the scales at 402g - perfect for stowing away in a pack on ‘done in a day’ fastpacking sorties or longer multi-day expeditions. The combination of 40g PRIMALOFT® SILVER ECO insulation and PERTEX® Classic Eco outer fabric makes for a warm, lightweight, showerproof piece of kit.

Montane's Flux Micro Jacket is a hoodless insulating, mid-layer garment with a high warmth to weight ratio. As you would expect from Montane quality is exceptional, the outer fabric has a high DWR coating (water resistant) and an attractive matt finish, both the back and front have stitch patterns that break up the surface of the jacket, giving it some character and helping it keep its shape.

The cuffs are finished with a light elastication, and the hem has a drawcord so you can keep the heat in. The only thing we thought was missing was an internal chest pocket, which we find useful on a jacket like this. It stuffs into one of its pockets so there's no extra weight for a stuffsack.

This is an ideal jacket for cooler days out where you need something to keep the cold out when you stop - but it's also light enough to find its way into your backpacking rucksack as a 'no-nonsense' reliable insulating layer.
