The Montane Spitfire Jacket is PrimaLoft Gold insulated mountaineering climbing jacket, designed for winter and extreme technical climbing where warmth and durability are essential.
The jacket is filled with warm PrimaLoft Gold ECO insulation throughout (200g in the core and 170g in the arms) which is highly thermally efficient and water resistant, meaning the jacket will still perform even if it gets wet. The outer of the jacket is Pertex Quantum Pro with Diamond Fuse which is highly water resistant and uses unique diamond shaped nylon yarns and an optimum thread count to create a fabric which has an increased resistance to snagging and abrasion.
The hood of the jacket is fully adjustable and climbing helmet compatible, featuring three points of adjustment and a stiffened wire peak to provide shape and improved visibility.
The jacket features one chest pocket and two microfleece lined hand pockets situated high so they are clear of a climbing harness or rucksack belt. Inside the jacket there are two stretchy mesh pockets for storing gloves and water bottle. All of the zips are designed to be easily used with gloves thanks to the attached U shaped pulls.
