The Kor Strata Hoody is a warm, breathable and weather resistant hooded jacket with PrimaLoft Gold Active insulation offering higher levels of breathability and completely eliminating cold spots.
Mountain Hardwear says:
The Primaloft Gold Active insulation keeps this hoody warm, without the excess weight or bulk. The stretch and breathability make this an acceptable piece you can wear anywhere.
Mountain Hardwear's Kor Strata Hoody utilizes the new 'Active' PrimaLoft Gold insulation, with higher breathability and no need for quilting, so no cold spots. The 'Active' insulation provides plenty of warmth without weighing you down or taking up much room in your pack while also featuring a good amount of stretch for greater freedom of movement.
The face fabric is weather-resistant, offering a good amount of protection from light rains and winds. There's a softness to both the inner and outer but the stretchy nylon ripstop outer still feels like it can stand up to a bit of rough wear.
Feature-wise it has everything you need; there's two good size handwarmer pockets and one chest pocket all with zip closures. The cuffs and hood are elasticated and the hem has a pull drawcord for keeping cold drafts out. Overall a warm and highly versatile jacket, designed for a cool autumnal day at the crag, yet warm enough for an alpine start.
