Rab's Cirrus Flex Hoody is perfect as a winter climbing and belay jacket as it's insulated with Cirrus powered by 3M featherless insulation which closely mimics the look and performance of down while maintaining its warmth, even when wet.
The Cirrus Flex Hoody is a slightly different take on the Nebula and Nimbus Jackets. Although it's filled with the same type of insulation, it only has about half of the fill at 117g for a size L. In place of the extra fill they have added stretchy side fleece panels for better breathability and movement. The fleece has a smooth outer with a grid like pattern to it, whereas the inside of the fleece is softer thanks to the brushed fabric.
