The 32 Degree Insulated Hooded Jacket is a warm and breathable fleece with zoned insulation across the chest, arms and shoulders. An ideal mid-layer for skiing/snowboarding, hiking and running.
Mountain Hardwear says:
A technical mid-layer with great stretch and zoned insulation that maintains warmth at the core. Perfect for excursions in the backcountry or cross-country skiing.
Mountain Hardwear's 32 Degree Insulated Hooded Jacket is basically a warm stretchy fleece with a small area of Thermal.Q Elite insulation across the chest, arms and shoulders. The inside of the fleece is really soft, where as the outside has a smoother face. This is usually to prevent the fleece from pilling and it also makes it more comfortable to layer.
It has a little more features compared to it's half zip brother. There are two wand-warmer pockets, an adjustable hem and a stretch hood that will sit comfortably under a helmet. It also has reflective details on the end of the sleeves.
It's fabrics and feature set make it an ideal layer for a cold evening run.
