great versatile shirt
This is a lightweight versatile half wind/half sun top. This shirt has a light nylon/spandex front with a polyester base layer on the back, underarm and inner sleeve. I really like the versatility, it works as a light aerobic midlayer over a short or long sleeved base in cold conditions but does obviously need a shell or breathable puffy/ fleece in very cold and windy conditions. Still if it gets warm it can be worn comfortably against the skin as a sun shirt. Also works as a running shell down to freezing and as a light 3 season mountain biking top. I really like the high collar for sunny conditions and long sleeves that cover the knuckles. It has a deep chest pocket that the shirt stuffs into, thumb loops and minimal reflective text. I bought a large, which is too long for my torso but fits my broad shoulders and lats with room for a base. I'm 5'8" so could have gone medium for a fitted top. As it is it provides decent space for hot conditions and enough room for a base in cold conditions. It is soft and stretchy and breathes well and dries fast.
