Marmot's Limatour Shorts combine lightweight softshell fabric with a comprehensive set of features and pockets. The very stretchy fabric makes them ideal for a wide range of activities.

Marmot says:

Traveling far or near, a functional stretchy lightweight short is a must-have in every kit. Luckily this short, modeled after our highly successful Limantour Pant, gets plenty of functionality and versatility from its purpose-built fabrics and intuitive design, which is created for long days out on your favorite kind of terrain.

Marmot's Limatour shorts are incredibly stretchy just like the Limantour Pants. They come in as quite a heavy trekking short compared to others and that's partly because of it's features - open hand pockets at the front (I.e. no zips), a zipped pockets on the thigh and one zipped rear pocket.

Reinforcement areas of heavier fabric and a microfleece inner waistband add more weight - but what you get is a well designed, very comfortable and practical pair of trekking shorts that will be comfortable in a range of temperatures.
