The Filament Pull-On is a super lightweight, high wicking, technical fitting fleece designed for active mountain use.
If you favour the fit, reliability and easy-vent warmth of a half-zip fleece, our lightweight Filament Pull-On is a fast-wicking technical midlayer that is purpose-built for active mountain use.
The Filament Pull-On is built from the latest recycled Thermic™ fabric - a stripe-patterned technical polyester fleece with 7% elastane for unrestricted movement when climbing, trekking and skiing. The fabric is also inherently hydrophobic, enabling it to retain its thermal efficiency in wet conditions, while shifting moisture rapidly through the layers and away from the body. Soft, lightweight and breathable, the Filament Pull-On comes with a half-length zip, an elevated collar and discreet thumb loops to keep the sleeves secure and draught-free when you up the pace. It also features a secure YKK® zipped chest pocket and smooth flatlock seams for increased comfort.
Whether you want to use it as a simple everyday warmth boost or as a high-energy, cold-weather mountain midlayer, the Filament Pull-On is 268g very well invested.

Rab's Filament Pull-On uses a lightweight, breathable, ribbed fleece fabric that is designed to trap more warm air than regular fleece, making this type of fabrics perform better than heavier, traditional fleece designs. It's also designed to wick sweat more effectively than standard fleece fabrics, which it does manage even when you're heating up on ascents or higher intensity sessions.
This fleece initially feels more of a mid-layer but it also works really well as a next-to-skin base layer for when your long-sleeve tees are not providing enough warmth in cold conditions. Admittedly it has seen more use as a spring/summer midlayer when trekking in milder conditions. The streamlined Pull-On design makes it ideal for layering while the half length zip provides a great vent for regulating your temperature.
