The Ulvetanna Hybrid 2.0 Jacket is a highly versatile jacket that combines the best of both down and synthetic properties to give you one ultimate hybrid insulation jacket.
The Ulvetanna Hybrid 2.0 is the ultimate mountain hybrid insulation jacket. Built for active comfort and warmth in extreme conditions, it fuses down and synthetic insulation into a body-mapped design to target warmth and breathability in key areas. Extensive scientific research and testing combined with performance construction techniques have delivered the optimum in warmth and comfort.
The Ulvetanna Hybrid 2.0 combines Berghaus' Hydrodown and Hydroloft meaning active mountaineers can benefit from the best of these two ground-breaking technologies. Hydrodown panels are located where the user needs to retain heat, with the 700 fill Hydrodown offering the maximum warmth-to-weigh. Hydroloft panels are located in areas where the user needs heat stability and enhanced breathability to stay in thermoregulatory comfort. The overall package is an iconically designed high-performance jacket for serious mountain expeditions.
It can be hard to decide between a down or a synthetic jacket as both have excellent qualities. Your choice will usually depend on the activities you plan to use it for. The great thing about the Berghaus' Ulvetanna Hybrid 2.0 Jacket is that it's made up from both hydrophobic down and hydroloft panels. Giving you excellent warmth to weight and breathability, all in one jacket.
Feature wise we like the helmet compatible hood as it offers comfortable adjustment (front pull cord also adjusts the back) and features a lightly stiffened peak with an internal stretch gaiter to improve the fit, grip the helmet and prevent cold air entry over top of your head. A great feature you only tend to find on Berghaus jackets.
