The Tullus Down Hoody is the ideal jacket for throwing on when the temperature starts to drop. This versatile jacket is perfect for anything from alpine use to walking the dog.
A cold day out cragging or a foggy night by the fire, the Tullus Hoody is an authority of warmth and comfort. We utilized 600-fill-power down that is treated to be water-resistant to create this jacket's bountiful warmth even in damp conditions and finished it off with an attached hood, an elastic hem and cuffs, and cozy handwarmer pockets.
Marmot's Tullus Down Hoody is a good option for the cost conscious as it still provides a decent level of warmth with 142g of 600 fill power. It isn't overly heavyweight and it does a good job all round. Thanks to it's Down Defender technology it will keep you warm even in light rain and snow.
Sometimes less is more in regards to features and although the hood doesn't have an adjustment for tightening it is elasticated which save weight and is just as comfortable. The two hand warmer pockets are a good size and there's an internal zip pocket for keeping those small important items. The hem and cuffs are elasticated which I find more comfortable than Velcro, when layering.
