Providing specialist protection for those facing harsh conditions, the Infinity Jacket combines a weather-resistant GORE-TEX INFINIUM outer and 800FP R.D.S Certified Goose Down to maximise warmth in cold, damp environments.
Designed for mountaineers operating in cold conditions, at high altitude or in deep winter, the Infinity is a highly specialised jacket. Made from soft yet robust GORE-TEX® INFINIUM™ with WINDSTOPPER® technology, it has minimal seams and protective stitch-free overlays, allowing wind and rain to glance off the breathable outer fabric. Inside, the highest quality 800FP R.D.S Certified, Nikwax® treated, European Goose Down is held in a boxwall construction to ensure superior warmth in extreme environments.
The climb specific fit of the Infinity Jacket can be tailored using the adjustable hem and cuffs. The sleeves are pre-curved to ensure full range of motion on steep ground, and it has a helmet-compatible down-filled hood with a wired peak and concealed adjusters. Cold, damp belays are instantly improved by an insulating 2-way YKK® VISLON® AquaGuard® zip with a synthetic baffle, and there's plenty of room to store the essentials in two large hand pockets, two internal mesh pockets and a chest pocket. When continuing the climb, the Infinity can be quickly stashed in its small stuff sack and stowed in your pack.

The Infinity Down Jacket is Rab's massively weather-resistant, all-mountain down jacket. This jacket utilises the new Gore-Tex Infinium fabric to provide windproof and highly water-resistant protection that is backed up with features that compliment this level of protection. Highly water-resistant zips on the main zip and chest pocket and a wired peak on the hood allude to the fact that the outer fabric on the Infinity is nigh-on waterproof but without taping the seams it cannot be considered fully waterproof and we cannot call it that either.
Across the chest you've got two massive baffles that give the down in that area optimum amount of space to loft to its full potential. Internally there's large mesh pockets on the back of the handwarmer pockets that are great for helping to dry gear like gloves or socks.
The 250g of 800 fill hydrophobic down provides massive amounts of warmth, any sort of activity in this jacket at low temperatures and you will overheat, the mercury has to drop very far for this to be an all-day garment.
