The Aero Jacket is an ultralight style with a full zip and two hand-warmer pockets. At 195g, it is less than half the weight of a standard fleece jacket, yet provides a significantly greater degree of warmth.
It has a stitch-through baffle construction with vertical stitch lines to further prevent movement of down. Down fill quantity and quality is 90g (or 3.3 ounces) of 800 (EU) fill power polish goose down.
The calling card of Crux is the quality of down they use and the Aero Down Jacket is no exception with 860 fill power used in this super light and packable insulating layer. The baffle construction sets this jacket apart from its competition. The rationale behind the use of the interesting grid pattern is to eliminate down migration to reduce cold spots and less lofting time for the jacket to provide the warmth you need.
This minimalist jacket has 2 hand warmer pockets and comes with a stuff sack. The cuffs are lycra trimmed to ensure a close fit to trap heat in.
