The Infinity G Jacket is Rab's lightest big down jacket, easily packable with enough fill to keep you warm in very cold conditions.
Created for the alpinist our Infinity G is a specialist down jacket - lightweight, packable and exceptionally warm, it excels at high altitudes and low temperatures.
In the mountains, every decision must be carefully weighed up and striking the balance between what you want and what you can carry is never easy. Combining the durable 7D Pertex Quantum outer fabric with 240g of our highest quality 850 fill power down, the Infinity G is the perfect choice for those looking to maximise warmth at minimal weight.
Highlighting our expertise in down and years of experience in the mountains, the Infinity G's low weight and packability have been achieved by using the latest technology and materials, not from stripping back features. A testament to this is its adjustable helmet-compatible hood, two-way front zip and insulated zip baffle and chin guard

Rab's Infinity G Down Jacket might look similar to the Zero G Jacket, but they are very different, hence why Rab decided to create the Infinity without replacing the Zero.
The main difference here, is the warmth. While the Zero uses 130g of 1000 fill power down, the Infinity uses 240g of 850 Fill power down. This may be confusing for those who don't understand the down lingo, so to put it simply, the Infinity is nearly twice as warm as the Zero which means it's ideal for really cold conditions.
As it's filled with more down it does make it a little heavier than the Zero, but it's still Rab's lightest down jacket for it's warmth. If I was wanting a superlight jacket whilst maintaining high levels of warmth I would use the Zero, if I was wanting a jacket that was lightweight and excelled at high altitudes and low temperatures, then I would use the Infinity. Both would have a place in my wardrobe!
