The Powermonkey Discovery from Power Traveller is simply a battery that can be charged from a computer (via USB), a power outlet or a solar charger. Once charged its power can be delivered to a range of devices using the set of plugs included in the kit. It also lets you know how much charge is left in it.
A battery pack such as this one is relatively light for the power delivery and it is often preferable to taking solar charging kit which can be 'iffy' in all but the clearest weather. Depending on your charging requirements this could be the only charging kit you need to take.
