Sometimes what you really want to round out a perfect day of hiking or surfing is a good hot shower. The Helio Pressure Shower uses a 11 litre welded fabric water tank pressurized by a foot pump, to give you 5-7 minutes of steady water.

Nemo says:

Unlike gravity camp showers that need to be hung overhead and produce dismal water pressure, Helio™ rests on the ground and delivers the pressure you need to wash hair, do the dishes, rinse off gear, water your plants, or wash the dog. This high quality innovative portable shower is engineered to last, just like all NEMO products. Helio™ is more portable than its competitors and can be filled from anywhere even without a hose. Its 2.9 gallon capacity is one of the largest on the market and comes with a 7 foot sprayer hose delivering 5-7 minutes of fully pressurized spray.

The Helio is a truly awesome product - if you`ve used gravity shower contraptions designed for camping you`ll realise just what a breakthrough the Helios is. Just 700g - ideal for basecamp use.

Best for use in warmer climates of course though you can top up with boiled water if you have some available: the melting temperature of the polyurethane coating on the fabric body of the Helio is higher than the boiling point of water. Therefore, it is possible to fill the Helio with hot water, if available. We would recommend that users partially fill the Helio with cool or ambient temperature water, then add hot water to create the desired temperature.

  • Packs away into small pouch
  • Provides 5-7 minutes of pressurised water
  • Heated by sunshine
  • Weighs 700g
  • 11 Litre tank

Very happy with my Nemo Helio Pressure Shower

The Nemo Helio Pressure Shower works well!! We filled it up with hot water from the tap, pressed the foot pump 6 times and water came out of the shower head strong enough for a good rinse, when you have to pump it 11 times you know you have used half a bag of water. One bag of water 11 litres was just enough to wash hair and body without worrying about running out of water. The foot pump can be slippery to press when you are rinsing off the shower g
