These Hilleberg Trekking Poles balance light weight with the strength for trekking in the hills, taking on technical mountain terrain or supporting your shelter for arduous day trips through to week long treks.
Produced by DAC, our long-time partner and tent pole supplier, our poles are great for hiking and also work seamlessly with our Anaris, Tarps, Mesh Tent 1, Mesh Boxes and Mesh Ridge. Our poles are built with DAC’s impressively strong TH72M aluminum, and they extend from 90 cm (35.5 in) to 145 cm (57 in) and collapse fully to 65 cm (25.5 in). Adjustment comes from easy-to-use and very secure double-cam Lever Locks. At longer lengths, they are ideal for the Anaris and Tarp 10, or for the front of the Tarp 5 or Mesh Tent 1. When fully collapsed, they are perfect for the back of both the Tarp 5 and the Mesh Tent 1. Our trekking poles also come with removable rubber tips for use on rocky terrain.

Hilleberg's Trekking Pole are ideal for a wide range of activities where you need to be able to rely on your poles. A focus on strength and durability won't be a surprise coming from Hilleberg so they're not the lightest or most packable. However, the external locking mechanism absolutely solid and can be relied upon in any conditions. The simple but effect lever locks are my favoured mechanism for serious trips when the lightweight option isn't enough.
The focus on strength means that they work brilliantly for pitching tents and shelters that require a trekking pole for setup. They still have a good quality foam grip that's ridged down the shaft for extra grip when you're pulling up a steep incline. These are a great option if weight isn't vital but strength and ease of use is.
