Our Verdict
Everything LEKI does is about quality, although not the absolute lightest poles LEKI poles are famously well-designed and super tough. Leki's Black Series Carbon Trekking Poles have been designed for trekking and multi day backpacking so are extremely robust, they have a comfortable cork-like grip and dual Lever Locks for continuous adjustment. The Cork-like grip is particularly cool and comforable and some people prefer this to the ubiquitous foam grip. The Black Series Poles do have a foam section extending down the shaft of the pole which is really useful for steep ascent.
Being a telescopic pole the packed size is not particularly short, but this design of pole is the more durable.
