Affordable, lightweight but not durable

Bought these because of how great the specs seemed for the price, and took them on a long distance thru-hike of the PCT. After about 500 miles the tips had completely worn down to the plastic and I had to buy another pair while on trail. The twist-lock system can also be a bit fiddly, but it's not a deal breaker in this case.

They are, however, super lightweight and for those who intend on using them lightly and infrequently this would still be a great lightweight option.

For those intend to use these for more than 500 miles should look for other options, preferably ones with Tungsten tips for much greater durability.

Great poles

I've now pushed over 500km's with this poles and I am so satisfied by them. They are light, durable and great value for the money. After all these km's the tips are still in great shape (I don't use the rubber tips). Only thing I've broken are the basket - the rocks on the Finnish fields beat the s*it out of them, but that could (will) happen to every pole. So, why the four stars? I took the one star off because of the locking system; I do like the "twist lock" for being less bulky than the "flip lock" but, there was one time the twist lock failed on me - the pole got stuck between rocks and my movement caused the lock to turn a little and on next step I pushed the pole shorter, so the lock got loose. That is the thing you should keep in mind and check the locks on the mornings and during breaks. So, I think the flip lock would be a better choice for these poles! After all, these are amazing poles! The weight:price:value:durability ratio is excellent. I'm quite sure that these are my poles of choice in the future when it's time to replace my current pair.
