Nemo's Veda 12P Tent harnesses the power of your trekking poles to support a spacious two person single skin tent with two entrances and vestibules.
Nemo Equipment says:
Veda is a striking example of the efficiency and weight savings possible with a well-designed trekking pole tent. With tall peak heights and a generous overall length, the Veda has great livability.
There is no more efficient way to spend an overnight if you're already carrying trekking poles. The Veda series tents hit the magic combination of weight, packability, and liveability for life on the trail. Details like special wicking fabric above the head manages condensation and huge vestibules that roll back with a shed-style overhang for weather protection and refreshing airflow, make for extreme comfort and usability.
Nemo's Veda 2P tent offers good headroom and interior space ina a lightweight package. Its supported by two pairs of trekking poles and with these in place you can add extra volume to the interior by pegging out the additional loops on the flysheet.
There are two door and two big vestibules which is the perfect configuration for a two person tent. This tent being single skin may put people off - but its exactly why I love single skin tents - you get get a much big living space even at low weight. If you're worried about condensation, we know this can be a problem in single skin tents but in my experience you only have a problem occasionally and that problem is dealt with easily with a cloth. Nemo have built in features to help minimise condensation issues, such as wicking fabric above your head and plenty of venting options using the doorways.
Don't buy this tent if you don't use trekking poles, without them its a groundsheet.
