Sea to Summit says:
With best-in-class space, climate control and multiple set-up modes, the two-person fully-featured Telos TR2 was designed for the ultimate three-season camp experience. Our patent-pending Tension Ridge Architecture delivers unmatched useable room, a higher ceiling, oversized doors, two large vestibules for storing gear and an adjustable ventilation system. Designed for ultimate versatility, the Telos TR2 can be pitched in a multitude of ways, including our Hangout Mode, which converts the tent into a semi-open shelter.
The lightweight Telos TR2 is also packed full of intuitive features like our FairShare Storage System, which is comprised of dual-use storage bags that can be clipped into your tent to create extra storage and our illuminating Lightbar. With a mesh inner and DAC’s world-class Featherlite NSL and PRESSFIT pole sections, the Telos TR2 is the ultimate in ultra-lightweight liveability.
Sea to Summit's Telos TR2 Tent is a spacious, practical and versatile two person tent. The Telos manages to keep the weight down while focusing on a spacious, user friendly design. The full range of tents use the innovative Tension Ridge pole design which increases head height, creates more space and improves ventilation. The placement and design of the vents is also a well thought out aspect that allows you to keep condensation to a minimum. There is a really good amount of internal space and vestibule space for sitting up in, cooking and storing all your kit.
There are a range of interesting features included which some people will love and others will probably find gimmicky. However, it's great to see any company trying new ideas such as the Lightbar, FairShare storage system which then doubles up for additional storage pockets and a number of practical touches with guy cords and pegs. The set up is designed to maximise versatility with a number of options including fly only, inner only and other more interesting ones depending on the weather. This normal TR version comes with a full mesh inner. This keeps the weight down compared to the Plus version and provides much greater breathability and ventilation for camping in mild conditions.
