Nigor's Guam 3 Tent offers a good amount of internal space along with two decent sized porches. This is a great tent with high quality fabrics used to increase the durability and performance.
Nigor says:
Simple, classic, three season and freestanding backpacking tent for 3 people. We have used the very latest innovation in ultra light tent poles. This results in a superlight tent by combining the poles and our advanced GorLyn 20 fabric. The inner tent has an integrated cross pole, which creates nearly straight side walls with more than enough moving space inside for three persons. The inner tent is made of 15D breathable rip stop nylon, with mesh panels covered by curtains. This makes the Guam series perfect for three season use. No compromise for lightweight and durability. This GorLyn 20 fly fabric has been made from high-tenacity nylon 6.6 with a yarn thickness of 20 denier. Light in weight, but strong enough to support you in difficult conditions. The tent floor is made from a 40-denier nylon rip stop with a laminated thermo-plastic polyurethane (TPU) coating of 10.000mm.
An excellent free standing tent from Nigor in the Guam 3. At just over 2.2kg you get a lot of tent with this option in the form of two entrances with well proportioned porches and a generous internal space with enough room for two people sleeping comfortably.
The high spec materials used have allowed Nigor to produce high performance without adding weight or sacrificing durability which is pretty impressive. The simple but effective pole structure allow the Guam 3 to be genuinely freestanding. It is quick and easy to put up in any conditions with a bit of practice.
This is a good choice for backpacking in changeable conditions as it is robust enough to cope. It's not the lightest but it is still a great option when you compare it's build quality and performance against any other similar tents.
