The Big Agnes Fly Creek UL3 uses the latest materials to lower the weight bar. With this trend we are seeing much bigger lightweight backpacking tents offering more comfort, in many cases for less weight. The Fly Creek is a good example of this concept, we particularly like the high fabric inner - only the top section and door is mesh, this gives a good compromise between ventilation, wind protection and warmth.
The High Volume part of this tent is the redesign of the pole structure which adds significant extra space inside. The Fly Creek has storm guys which also act to keep the volume of the inner at maximum as well as giving some reassurance during windy conditions.
