Unique pegs with features that provide immense holding strength.

Swiss Piranha says:

The Tent Peg made out of very strong plastic "Piranha NT". Unbreakable and very safe for kids.

Swiss Piranha's RT190 Tent Pegs have a unique design that provides immense holding power from a lightweight, plastic package. The plastic used to make these pegs is very hard and strong, the cross-shaped structure makes them very stiff and resistant to bending, Swiss Piranha describe them as "Unbreakable" but the jury's out on that.

Serrated teeth at the end of the peg will provide extra grip in medium-soft ground and the next morning you might find these difficult to pull out if you've knocked them right the way in. Swiss Piranha do a purpose-built peg puller for just this issue.

The tops of the pegs are nice and wide and this will ensure your guy or pegging point won't jump over the top of the peg during the night.

Just Excellent

Bought ten of these and used them for four weeks on the GR11 hike in the Pyrenees.
Just fantastic
10 of these and plastic bag came in at 35g
Absolutely excellent holding power.
When pegging down my tent, one guyline would come under the most strain. The one at the front, forming the vestibule and giving the tent shape.
If while setting up i put too much pressure on the line the peg might come loose. But once everything was set up and pegs in place a peg never came loose. Even if they are not in the ground quite fully
They can bend if you force them against a rock or tree root, but i never had one break. they can just be bent back into shape.
If your in a rocky and difficult to use tent peg terrain, due to their thick shape it can be difficult to get them down. Though with patience i always managed to peg down the tent.
Really good buy.
