Excellent quality, more spacious than expected

Really lightweight, stitching is good quality. The attachment points seem strong and robust. The stuff sack is great it weighs close to nothing (same material as the tarp, I think) and the stuff sack has a handle like piece of material along the side so that you can strap it to the outside of your pack, handy if the tarp has water on it. The tarp is more spacious than I was expecting, it is a great size for 1 person and their gear, depending on how it is set up will definitely keep any weather off you. This shelter is seriously light for the price.

Very handy and seems quality

"Proudly made in China" is a nice touch on the label. Every reason to be proud: the stitching looks perfect and the size of each loop is very consistent. It gives a quality vibe compared to some other tarps I've had. It's hard to know what parameters to look for when reviewing a tarp. All I know is it stood up to a night of constant rain and wind, with gusts forecast at 40mph and that seemed about right. It was pitched as a lean-to against the wind so it was taking a fair bit of force. The way I had it pitched meant that, in the gusts, the central loop looked like it was taking some horrible forces, plus the fabric at the bottom was being slammed into the ground. Afterwards I didn't see any damage to the fabric, or any stitching holes enlarging at the loops. The stuff bag is sized about right: not a chore to stuff it, and I could fit a couple of lengths of cord in there as well so I can quickly make a lean-to. A more full set-up, with cord pre-attached to make a solidly guyed-out A-frame pitch, might struggle to fit. The central loop needed seam sealing, it would be nice if that was mentioned - I'd suggest anyone does this before relying on it in the rain. If you need convincing, try making making a water balloon arrangement around the central loop in the bath and just very gently squeezing it - that's what convinced me to seal it:) Mine weighs, in the bag, after sealing, about 240g. With a couple of cords & linelocks for a quick lean-to, about 255g. A great accompaniment to a bivy bag - the size was just enough to let me quickly get in & out of a bag in constant wind-driven rain without getting too wet.
