The Wisp 1P Moon View Super Bivy Tent is a lightweight, packable and relatively spacious 3 season 1 person shelter. A great option for weight phobic adventurers.
Big Sky International says:
The Wisp 1P MV tent is well suited as a bivy replacement. Think of it as a "super bivy" since the Wisp is totally enclosed to escape bugs and mosquitoes, it is also big enough to be able to sit up in and change clothes when it is raining, which is impossible to do with a bivy. Another bonus is the Wisp has a covered vestibule that a bivy does not have to store pack and footwear out of the weather. Double walled head end for condensation management with option to roll back head end for Moon View or extra ventilation.
Big Sky International's Wisp 1P Moon View Super Bivy Tent is a fantastic shelter for the weight conscious solo backpacker that packs down slightly bigger than a 1 litre water bottle. You need a walking (or tarp pole) to be able to pitch the Wisp. As with any trekking pole tent the pitching is more tricky than with a more conventional tent but this just adds to the fun!
With a 2 skin design and added venting options condensation should rarely be an issue. As well as a top vent near the entrance you can open out the head end to enjoy the view and keep the air flowing when the weather is kind.
Inside the tent you get a spacious head end and is high enough to sit up in. At the foot end the small pole supplied keeps the tent fabric off your legs. You get one large mesh fabric by the door and a small hook to hang a lantern off if required.
The vestibule is a decent size for storing kit that won't fit in the tent.
