These types of shelters are very simple, they are just designed to be tough and hold up to weather you find in the harshest environments in the world. Inside the MSR Twin Sisters Tarp Shelter it's a very simple layout just a vent at each end of the tent, that's it. The poles take up some of the usable space inside, but it's a compromise for not having to carry a bulky poleset.
The snowskirt is good and wide to provide optimal holding strength, you could even use the snowskirt with rocks if you find yourself on a rocky pitch and can't drive pegs into the ground.
There's 16 guying points, this is a good addition to the new design and will help keep the tent absolutely solid even in the worst conditions.
This is an all-mountain tent but it could easily be used as a large, lightweight, single-skin shelter for two in any environment.
