The Nordisk Finnmark 2 SI is suitable for all hikers looking for a lightweight UV-resistant and well made 2 person tent.

Nordisk says:

Finnmark 2 is a multi-purpose tent with a large interior and entrance at both sides which allows for optimal airflow, plenty of storage opportunities, room for cooking or simply just the comfort of the extra space. There are two large vents each side which are located low on the tent to ensure that no rain enters even when fully opened.

Finnmark 2 is inner pitched which allows for leaving off the fly sheet adding even better inner climate in warm conditions. There are multiple storage options and even the opportunity of adding a ceiling storage net for your phone, wallet or flash light.

The Finnmark 2 is a durable multi-purpose tent with a great space for storage and living. The tent has two separate entrances with vestibules, which allows dirty equipment to be separated from the cooking equipment, and you won't get in each other's way when climbing in and out. Multiple ventilation options allow you to tailor the tent completely to your specific needs ensuring optimal comfort whether your sleeping or cooking.

Nordisk consistently relies on high quality materials that work well together to ensure the tent itself does not get wet in heavy rain. 40D nylon fabric reinforced with ripstop and silicone coating on both sides of the fly sheet, a breathable, water-repellent tent body and a PU-coated 40D floor. The SI version of the Finnmark 2 is slightly lighter and more durable due to the use of nylon rather than polyester in the flysheet and inner tent.

Not seam sealed

This tent really upset me because nowhere on the label does or the description does it specify you need to seam seal it.
I had to call the rep and enquire and he did not know this either.
It took ages and if you mess it up, it's really annoying, silicon seam seal is really frustrating to apply.
By the end of it I wanted to give the tent away.

Also the first one I got had a hole in the stitching on the non seam sealed fly on the top of the tent when I pitched it to inspect it before taking it out.
My replacement one also had a few holes from the stitching in the fly but not as big as the first tent, the seam seal coered those small holes up.

Condensation is also an issue with this tent in pretty mild conditions even with vents open and sleeling with only the fly doors closed.
Bit of a waste of money I wish I bought a Hilleberg...

There are a few other features I don't like, like the vents warping when packed and the magnetic door locks make it so in the mornings when you want to open the doors you need to get out of the tent to keep them open.

It does the job but I wish when I had the faulty one I just got my money back instead of messing around seam sealing the second tent and not even liking it.
